College Football Power Rankings: Mid-Season Assessment
As the college football season enters its final stretch, the landscape of the top 25 teams is becoming clearer, though challenges and opportunities remain for many. Several teams, including Washington, Memphis, Iowa, Virginia, and Louisville, experienced setbacks, highlighting the volatility of the rankings.
Ohio State continues to dominate, holding the top spot and eyeing a potential Big Ten championship and a No. 1 seed in the College Football Playoff. Texas A&M, ranked second, is focused on refining its passing game while maintaining its strong running game. Indiana, at third, faces offensive line injuries but is still in contention for a Big Ten championship appearance.
Alabama, ranked fourth, struggles with its running game, putting pressure on quarterback Ty Simpson.
