Cobra Kai Actor Martin Kove Accused of Assault at Fan Convention

A recent fan convention in Washington State was marred by allegations of assault involving *Cobra Kai* actor Martin Kove. The 78-year-old actor was reportedly removed from the event following an incident involving his co-star, Alicia Hannah-Kim.

According to a police report, Hannah-Kim alleges that Kove bit her arm at the cast booth. The report details that after she tapped him on the shoulder to greet him, Kove allegedly grabbed her arm and bit it hard enough to nearly draw blood. Hannah-Kim reportedly yelled out in pain, after which Kove allegedly kissed the area where he had bitten her. Her husband, Sebastian Roche, was reportedly present and witnessed the incident.

When confronted, Kove reportedly denied any wrongdoing. He allegedly told the officer that he was just joking and that he and Hannah-Kim often play-fought on the set of *Cobra Kai*. The officer, however, informed Kove that his actions were considered illegal and would not be tolerated. Hannah-Kim, who played Kim Da-Eun in Seasons 5 and 6 of the Netflix series, declined to press charges but requested a report be filed. Kove was subsequently escorted from the convention.

Kove is best known for his role as John Kreese in the *Karate Kid* franchise, a role he reprised in the subsequent films and the *Cobra Kai* series. *Cobra Kai* is set to conclude after its sixth season.
