Climate is the next big political battle in the immigration debate

mmigration has firmly returned to the top of the political agenda. And as the worlds climate changes and people are forced to move, it is likely to stay there.
There is no greater sign of being at the forefront of the national debate than your policy being plastered all over the Sunday papers alongside the most famous football pundit in the land. The controversial but nationally popular Illegal Migration Bill, which Gary Lineker spoke out against, in effect bans anyone from claiming asylum if they enter the UK illegally.

But the government cannot ignore what is also coming down the track. Climate change, conflict and demographic growth are likely to trigger a far larger migration crisis in decades to come.
