CBSE Announces Tier-1 Exam Schedule for KVS and NVS Recruitment 2025

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the schedule for the Tier-1 exam for the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) Recruitment 2025. This announcement provides crucial information for candidates awaiting the exam, including the exam dates, shifts, and exam cities.

The Tier-1 exam is scheduled to take place in January 2026. Specifically, the exam will be held on January 10th and 11th, 2026. The exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. To ensure smooth and secure access for all candidates, the exam will be held in two shifts each day. The first shift will run from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, and the second shift will be held from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The specific shift for each position will be detailed on the city intimation slip.

The CBSE has also released the exam city intimation slip. This slip provides candidates with information about their exam city, day, and shift. This early notification allows candidates to make necessary travel and accommodation arrangements well in advance of the exam, reducing potential stress.

Admit cards will be released approximately two days before the exam. The admit cards will contain the complete address of the exam center, reporting time, shift times, and important exam instructions. Candidates will not be permitted entry to the exam center without their admit card.

To download the city slip and admit card, candidates should visit the official website. They should then navigate to the KVS/NVS Recruitment section, open the candidate login link, and enter their registration number and password. The city slip or admit card will then be displayed, which candidates should download and print.

BNN's Perspective: The release of the exam schedule and city intimation slips is a positive step, providing clarity and allowing candidates to prepare effectively. The CBT format and staggered shifts demonstrate a commitment to a fair and secure examination process. While the two-day window for admit card release may be tight, the early city intimation is a welcome measure.
