Bushfire Kitchen Expands with New Brea Location

Brea, CA – Fast-casual restaurant chain Bushfire Kitchen has opened its tenth location, marking continued expansion across Southern California. The new restaurant, located in the Brea Marketplace, officially opened its doors on November 7th. The eatery occupies the space previously held by Rubios Coastal Grill and will operate daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Bushfire Kitchen distinguishes itself through its commitment to scratch cooking, emphasizing healthy ingredients. The menu features a variety of options, including bowls with free-range chicken and grass-fed beef, salads with protein choices, and burgers and sandwiches. Entree prices range from $12.75 to $21.50. Customers can also choose from a selection of sides, such as grilled vegetables, fries, and rice.

The restaurant also offers seasonal specials, including items like Maple Glazed Sweet Potatoes and a Chipotle Braised Beef Bowl. A seasonal beverage, the Apple Maple Refresher, is also available. A key feature of the chain is its selection of savory and sweet empanadas, including a rotating "Empanada of the Month." Currently, the seasonal empanada is Pumpkin Pie.

Founded in Del Mar in 2012, Bushfire Kitchen has steadily grown its presence in Southern California. The chain currently operates four restaurants in Riverside County and one in San Bernardino County. The company expanded into Los Angeles County with a Long Beach location in July. The first Orange County location opened in Mission Viejo in June 2024. Further expansion is planned, with a new restaurant slated to open early next year in Rancho Bernardo.
