Billie Eilish Announces Second Leg of "Hit Me Hard and Soft" Tour, Bringing the Music to More US Cities
Get ready, Billie Eilish fans! The pop superstar is extending her highly successful "Hit Me Hard and Soft" tour with a second round of U.S. dates, giving more fans a chance to experience her latest album live. Following the European leg of the tour, which concludes in July, Eilish will head to Japan for two shows in mid-August before returning stateside in mid-October.
The tour extension includes a trio of shows in Miami, followed by stops in Charlotte, North Carolina; Long Island, New York; New Orleans; Austin; Phoenix; and San Francisco. Eilish shared the exciting news on Instagram, expressing her enthusiasm for the upcoming shows.
Tickets for the U.S. dates go on sale soon. American Express cardholders can snag tickets starting Tuesday, May 20th, at noon local time. The general on-sale begins Friday, May 30th, at 12 p.m. local time.
In a move aimed at combating ticket scalping, Eilish will utilize Ticketmaster's Face Value Exchange program for most states, allowing fans to buy and resell tickets at their original price. Additionally, $1 from each ticket sold will be donated to Reverb, an organization supporting food insecurity and climate change causes.
The "Hit Me Hard and Soft" album, released on May 17, 2024, has been a critical and commercial success, with tracks like "Lunch," "Birds of a Feather," and "Chihiro" topping charts. The album is described as a coming-of-age and coming-out album. While the opening acts for the fall shows are yet to be announced, Eilish previously toured with artists like Towa Bird, Nat & Alex Wolff, the Maras, and Ashnikko.
