MIAMI – The Toronto Blue Jays secured a hard-fought 7-6 victory over the Miami Marlins on Saturday, extending their lead in the American League East. The game, which stretched into the 12th inning, saw Bo Bichette deliver the game-winning RBI single, bringing in the automatic runner, George Springer.
Springer had a strong performance, going 3 for 6 with a home run and two RBIs. Alejandro Kirk also contributed with an RBI double.
