Disney Entertainment's ABC-owned stations are seeking a part-time Associate Newscast Director. The role involves production-related duties, including directing and technical directing newscasts in automated production environments. Additional responsibilities may include operating cameras, including handheld, Steadicam, and DSLR, as well as robotic cameras, and assisting with audio and floor management.

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of studio and field production equipment, such as cameras, microphones, audio consoles, and video switchers. Flexibility is crucial, as the position requires working varied hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Applicants must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods. A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to multitask are also essential. Prior experience in a live control room environment is considered a plus. A high school diploma is required.
