Ariana Grande Reschedules Eternal Sunshine Tour Dates Amidst Production Concerns
Pop superstar Ariana Grande has announced the rescheduling of three dates on her highly anticipated Eternal Sunshine tour, citing production issues as the reason for the changes. The announcement, made via Instagram Stories on Monday, expressed apologies to fans for the inconvenience.
The affected shows include a July 12 performance at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, which has been moved to July 14. Additionally, two concerts at Boston's TD Garden, originally scheduled for July 22 and July 24, will now take place on July 23 and July 26, respectively. A statement confirmed that all previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new dates, and ticket holders will receive further information.
Grande emphasized that safety and ensuring the show is presented as intended are paramount. "The utmost important thing to us all is safety, first and foremost, and also making sure you all see the show how it is intended to run," she stated. The singer conveyed her gratitude for fans' understanding and expressed her eagerness to perform.
The Eternal Sunshine tour, in support of Grande's seventh studio album of the same name, marked her first headlining concert tour since 2019. The tour, which commenced earlier this month, has primarily focused on material from her latest album, interspersed with selections from previous works, including songs from "Positions," "Dangerous Woman," "My Everything," and "thank u, next."
In a previous interview on Amy Poehler's "Good Hang" podcast in November 2025, Grande had indicated that she had no immediate plans for extensive touring in the future, suggesting that the current tour might be a rare occurrence for a significant period.
BNN's Perspective:
While the rescheduling of tour dates is always a disappointment for fans, Ariana Grande's emphasis on safety and delivering a high-quality show as intended is a responsible approach. In the live entertainment industry, unforeseen production challenges can arise, and prioritizing the well-being of both the audience and the performers, alongside the integrity of the artistic presentation, is a sensible course of action. Fans will likely appreciate the transparency and the commitment to a superior concert experience, even with the slight delay.
