Alienware Launches Affordable Gaming Monitors with High-End Features

Alienware has unveiled two new gaming monitors, aiming to provide high-performance visuals at competitive price points. The company, known for its gaming hardware, is introducing these displays with a focus on affordability without sacrificing key features.

The flagship model is the 27-inch AW2725D, a QD-OLED monitor boasting a 280Hz refresh rate and a rapid 0.03ms response time. This monitor features a QHD resolution (2,560 x 1,440) and is priced at $550. It is designed to deliver smooth, tear-free visuals, supporting NVIDIA G-Sync, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and VESA AdaptiveSync technologies. The panel promises accurate color reproduction, covering 99.3 percent of the DCI-P3 color space with a Delta E < 2 accuracy, and is DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400 certified. Ergonomics are also a focus, with height, tilt, pivot, and swivel adjustments available. Connectivity includes a DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and a 5Gbps USB-C port with 15W charging.

The second monitor, the Alienware 25 (AW2525HM), offers a 320Hz refresh rate with an IPS panel. This model features a Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution and a 0.5ms response time. It also supports NVIDIA G-Sync, AMD FreeSync Premium, and VESA AdaptiveSync. The AW2525HM provides 99 percent sRGB color accuracy and offers height, tilt, swivel, and pivot adjustments. It is available for $250.
