Los Angeles – Actress and singer Halle Bailey has been granted a temporary restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, rapper and YouTuber DDG, following allegations of physical, verbal, emotional, and financial abuse. A Los Angeles judge issued the order on Tuesday, requiring DDG, whose legal name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., to stay away from Bailey and their 17-month-old son, Halo, until a June 6 hearing.

In court documents, Bailey, 25, detailed a pattern of abuse throughout their relationship, which lasted from 2022 until last year. She recounted several incidents, including a January altercation where she alleges Granberry, 27, called her names and physically assaulted her, resulting in a chipped tooth and bruises. Bailey also described instances of Granberry entering her home without permission, sending threatening messages, and damaging property, including a Ring camera. She further claims he uses his large social media platform to incite harassment against her.

The restraining order also prohibits Granberry from possessing weapons and from using his streaming platforms to disparage Bailey. The judge can extend the order for up to five years at the upcoming hearing. DDG, originally from Pontiac, Michigan, gained prominence as a video streamer and hip-hop artist. Bailey, from Atlanta, is known for her roles in *The Little Mermaid* and *Grown-ish*, and has received five Grammy nominations.
