AC/DC Adds Final Perth Show to Massive Australian Tour

Iconic rock band AC/DC has added a second and final show in Perth to their highly anticipated 2025 Australian tour, due to overwhelming demand. The new concert at Optus Stadium on December 8th will conclude the West Coast leg of the tour, which now encompasses nine stadium shows across the country.

Tickets for the initial dates went on sale on June 26th, resulting in such high demand that additional shows were quickly announced in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. The tour, produced by TEG Van Egmond, marks AC/DC's first national run in nearly a decade. The tour supports the band's 2020 album, *Power Up*, which reached number one on the ARIA Albums Chart.

Supporting AC/DC on the tour will be Amyl and the Sniffers, known for their energetic punk performances.

The ticketing platform, Ticketek, reported a record-breaking day on June 26th, selling 370,000 tickets across all events. Over 320,000 of those tickets were for AC/DC's *Power Up* tour, making it the biggest concert ticket sales day in Ticketek's history. This surpasses the band's previous record set during their 2009 *Black Ice* tour. The remaining tickets were for other events.

AC/DC's last tour of Australia and New Zealand was in 2015, the *Rock or Bust* tour, which saw over 520,000 tickets sold across 11 dates. Tickets for the 2025 tour are currently available through Ticketek, with limited availability remaining.
