Former "16 and Pregnant" star Whitney Purvis is grieving the loss of her son, Weston, who passed away at the age of 16. Purvis, who appeared on the MTV show in 2009, shared the heartbreaking news on Facebook, expressing her disbelief and profound sorrow.

In a raw and emotional post, Purvis wrote, "My beautiful son, Weston, has passed away... Life is so cruel and unfair." She described Weston as "perfect" and expressed the unimaginable pain of losing a child. Purvis's post included a loving tribute to her son, stating, "I love you so much, Weston Owen Gosa. You are my heart."

Weston's stepmother, Amy Gosa, also shared a Facebook post, revealing that an autopsy would be performed. She noted that Weston had faced health challenges, including diabetes, but the family was shocked by his sudden passing. Gosa described Weston as "brilliant, smart, funny and had so much potential in life."

Weston was born to Purvis and Weston Gosa Sr., who later welcomed a second son, River, before separating again. Purvis's episode of "16 and Pregnant" featured alongside other notable stars who went on to star in the popular reality series "Teen Mom." The family is requesting privacy and prayers during this difficult time.
