Universal Studios Hollywood Celebrates Butterbeer Season with Expanded Menu
Universal Studios Hollywood is gearing up for Butterbeer Season, a celebration of the beloved beverage and its many variations, coinciding with the 25th anniversary of the first Harry Potter film. The season, running from March 1st through May 31st, will offer a dozen different Butterbeer-flavored treats and drinks within the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
The original Butterbeer, created by Universal's culinary team, is known for its butterscotch and shortbread-like flavors, first appearing in the 2004 film *Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban*. The menu has since expanded to include a variety of options.
Guests can choose from classic Cold Butterbeer, served chilled with a foamy top, and Frozen Butterbeer, both available in dairy-free and vegan versions. For those seeking warmth, Hot Butterbeer is also on offer.
This year's signature item is the Butterbeer Waffle, a new addition to the lineup. Other treats include the Butterbeer Cream Puff, a puff pastry filled with shortbread cookie butter and topped with Butterbeer cream and sauce, and the Butterbeer Ice Lolly.
For ice cream lovers, Butterbeer Soft Serve and Hard-Pack Ice Cream are available. Fudge and Caramel, both Butterbeer-flavored, are sold at Honeydukes sweet shop. The Butterbeer Potted Cream, served in a mason jar, rounds out the offerings. A Butterbeer Cart souvenir collectible will also be available.
