Breezeline sponsors Run Before You Crawl 5K in Dover
DOVER Breezeline, the nations eighth-largest cable operator, sponsored this years annual Run Before You Crawl 5k in Dover, N.H.
The festive race, which took place on Saturday, March 18, is a unique event that combines running and beer tasting. Participants ran a 5k course through Dover, followed by a pub crawl through downtown Dovers bars and restaurants.
Breezeline is excited to be a part of the Run Before you Crawl 5k and to support the Dover community, said Nadine Heinen, Breezelines Region Director of Operations.
As part of its sponsorship, Breezeline handed out water bottles to runners and koozies to beer enthusiasts. Breezeline also gave attendees an opportunity to win a pair of AirPods. Eleven Breezeline employees participated in this years race.

ROCHESTER The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce will host the Spring 2023 Seacoast Area Job Fair, underwritten by Frisbie Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, April 13, from 4 to 6 p.m. at 35E Industrial Way, Suite 101, Rochester, in the Ten Rod Road Business Park.
Whether seeking a job or career change, the Seacoast Area Job Fair will provide a venue in which to learn about various businesses from multiple industries, and to see what job openings are available in the area. For employers, the Seacoast Area Job Fair offers you the opportunity to meet potential candidates for existing or future job openings. Interview areas can be made available should employers wish to interview candidates on site. Several educational and state agencies will also be on hand to discuss programs that can benefit both employers and employees.

Northeast Credit Union gives more than $21,000 to nonprofit organizations
PORTSMOUTH Northeast Credit Union concluded 2022 by exemplifying their mission to enrich and nourish the community, continuing to support organizations that alleviate food insecurity, aid the unsheltered and support educational efforts, all while empowering their members to help with the cause.
The Pay It Forward campaign designated a percentage of every dollar charged on a Northeast credit card in November and December to be donated to one of three charities in Maine and New Hampshire:

. Northeast is thrilled to announce that each organization received $5,000 to support their life-changing work.
Additionally, for every new member who opened a checking account with direct deposit, Northeast promised to donate $25 to
Neighbor Helping Neighbor
, an organization that works to combat todays soaring energy costs by directly assisting those who need help paying their energy bills. The total contribution from this campaign was $6,275.
We recognize the added pressure that nonprofits face during the holiday season, and we wanted to do our part to help; involving our members was a great way to enable them to help us live out our mission shared Chris Parker, President and CEO of Northeast Credit Union. Were aware of the impactful work the Monarch School of New England does with its students, and the vital and necessary services Home for Now, End 68 Hours of Hunger, and Neighbor Helping Neighbor all provide to their communities, and we wanted to support that, Parker added.

Rochester Chamber presents Breakfast with Brylye a talent acquisition program series
ROCHESTER Join the Chamber as they present a dynamic series of talent acquisition programs, entitled Breakfast with Brylye. Sponsored by Profile Bank, this series of breakfast programs will feature Brylye Collins of Rose Talent Consulting, who will lead us through three important sessions.
The first session - Recruitment 101 on Tuesday, April 18, and will feature a presentation on how to select the best possible candidate for the position.
The second session - Employee Engagement on Tuesday, May 9, and will analyze employee engagement at every stage of the employee life cycle and provide tips and tools for fostering employee engagement.
The final session - Leadership Basics on Friday, May 19, will provide new and tenured leaders with the tools and skills needed to become effective leaders. We will compare different leadership styles, assess the essential qualities of a great leader, and discuss the differences between a manager and a leader.
All three sessions will be held from 7:30 to 9 a.m., downstairs at the Granite Steak & Grill, located at 17 Farmington Road in Rochester. Breakfast is included.
